The 21 Lake Huron First Nations organize an annual gathering on or about September 9th each year to commemorate the signing of the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850.

The Inaugural Gathering commenced in 2016 with a pipe ceremony and canoe crossing from the United States of America side of Bawating (Sault Ste. Marie) to the Canadian side asserting sovereignty as a nation. Read about our latest gathering in the Robinson Huron Treaty Times below.
